To achieve this we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to be a vital member of the People team, helping Language Inspired bring new talent on board and optimize the overall Talent Acquisition function.

We're looking for an eager recruiter/headhunter with a passion for keeping tabs on talent pools, HR analytics and trends.

Description of the role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
Sourcing and recruitment:
  • Creation and definition of an attraction strategy utilizing various sourcing techniques
  • Develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across all departments
  • Experiment with and implement innovative sourcing solutions to ensure a sufficient pipeline of candidates for the growing needs of the business
  • Engage and network with potential talent and candidates across social media and professional networks to connect them with relevant opportunities.
  • Screening of candidates via phone or video (Google Meet)
  • Provide evaluation of applicants and submit top candidates for hiring manager review.
Talent Advisory
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify the responsibilities, skills and experience necessary and "nice to have" experience to create draft job descriptions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure alignment on talent attraction strategies, establishment and ongoing development of recruitment stages (i.e. interviews, questions, assessments, evaluations, reference checks and shadow/trial days)
  • Working closely with the Global Head of People and the leadership team, influence and develop effective recruiting approaches and set realistic expectations on time to fill, compensation, candidate pool quality and market feedback.
  • Provide training, coaching and guidance to hiring managers and linguist recruiters on recruitment and onboarding matters.
Employer Branding
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of People, marketing and leadership teams to develop and establish an employer brand identity.
  • Create and post catchy and attractive recruitment ads on external job boards and through social media channels to promote awareness of recruiting efforts and to continually promote our employer brand.
  • Manage the company's profiles on talent-related websites, portals, social media and other professional networking sites with a mind to establishing and maintaining our employer brand.
  • Build rapport and maintain professional relationships with talent, external agencies, colleges, vendors, associations and other stakeholders through social groups, conferences, job fairs etc (this may require some international travel).
Candidate Experience
  • Effective candidate and offer management.
  • Ensure a consistent, understanding and timely response to candidate communications.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of People and leadership team to design the company's hiring process from application to hire.
  •  Work to ensure diverse, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices. 
General
  • Management of our ATS system (Personio)
  • Draft and improve upon our library of templates for Talent Acquisition communications with a focus on empathy and professionalism e.g. application received, rejection, interview, offer emails etc.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of People and leadership team to develop talent acquisition practices, processes and systems
  • Track and report on talent acquisition metrics, such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, cost per hire, etc. by providing regular recruiting reports to the Global Head of people and leadership team.
  • Collaborating on additional tasks and projects within the People Operations team.
Requirements to be successful in this role
  • Fluency in English is a must, as exceptional writing and communication skills are required,  additional languages are advantageous.
  • Experience recruiting in the Language Services industry, ideally experienced with recruiting Project Managers, Vendor Managers, Account Executives, Sales, Quality Assurance Specialists etc.
  • 3+ years of developing responsibility in HR/People Operations. 
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment with a deep understanding of modern recruitment tools and strong knowledge of a variety of sourcing methods.
  • Experience working in a company providing language services or technologies, recruiting for Project Managers, Account Executives, Sales, Marketing and operating globally.
  • Strong communication and personal skills, with a drive to solve problems and a proactive approach
  • Familiarity with email, ticketing, and video conferencing software tools and overall strong technical literacy.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills with attention to detail and the ability to track and manage multiple critical initiatives simultaneously.
  • You are a professional with great communication and key management skills who can inspire confidence and build credibility within the team and externally. Ethics, discretion and loyalty are values of yours - reliable, trustworthy, and supportive team player and company representative.
  • Think big and have a growth mindset, but also enjoy getting your hands dirty.
  • Effective at collaborating, both remote and in-person, with colleagues in Riga and around the globe.
  • A voracious learner, you are interested and informed about the latest industry trends.
  • You have a passion for recruitment, HR, languages and innovation.
