Business Development Manager (Fully Remote - Latvia)

Your primary responsibilities will include building a robust pipeline of target accounts, a task facilitated by the dedicated assistance of a skilled Business Development Coordinator. You will leverage your keen market insights to identify lucrative opportunities within these accounts, collaborating closely with our Solution Specialists Team to effectively convert prospects into valued clients. Moreover, you will actively contribute to the expansion of our client base through adept upselling, cross-selling, and reselling initiatives, capitalizing on existing client relationships, and harnessing the support of our dedicated Customer Success team.

Your responsibilities would include
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and networking efforts.

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, tracking progress and managing sales activities using CRM systems.

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that address client needs and objectives.

  • Present proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients in a compelling and persuasive manner.

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.

  • Manage sales opportunities with existing clients, including upselling, cross-selling, renewals, and ongoing account management.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, serving as their main point of contact and trusted advisor.

  • Gather feedback from clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences, and use insights to inform product development and service enhancements.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue projections.


The skills and experience you will need to be successful
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar sales role within the language industry.

  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets, and driving business growth.

  • Strong understanding of the market and target audience, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Fluency in English, additional languages are advantageous.

  • Experience using CRM systems and other sales tools to track and manage sales activities and build pipelines.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work independently to drive initiatives forward.

Mindset and personal traits
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.

  • Highly motivated self-starter with a results-oriented mindset - ready to build a solid pipeline in the first 3 months and acquire new business.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Excellent focus on business: awareness of the competitive environment, ability to always look for new opportunities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work collaboratively with clients and team members.

Nice to have
  • Experience in selling translation and localization services to middle-size/enterprise companies.

  • Familiarity with account based selling. 

  • Good understanding of market trends/AI technologies.
